GROWING & MAKING: The handpicked grapes were crushed, destemmed and fermented in a small open fermenter for three weeks before basket pressing and maturation in two French barriques for eighteen months. Dark and inky in appearance, this is a concentrated and complex drop. There’s a brightness from juicy mulberry, black cherry and raspberry fruit flavours that contrasts the density of concentrated power and fine tannins. Tannat isn’t often seen in Australia, but this one definitely brings a bit of magic!
Unfined, unfiltered; minimal mucking about. Vegan.
