Originating as a key variety in Port production, Touriga is a bundle of dark inky joy. Packed with rich brambly fruits and silky chocolate notes it’s concentrated, rich and lush.
GROWING & MAKING: Hand-picked grapes farmed on the sunny slopes of Yallingup in northern Margaret River. Gentle handling in the winery - whole berry fermentation, hand-plunging and basket pressing - before maturation in neutral oak for fourteen months. The wines dark, inky colour echoes its plush richness. There’s blueberry and blood plum notes, alongside milk chocolate, coffee, cinnamon and lavender. Packed with soft, ripe tannins and a full-bodied lushness that brings depth, power and concentration. Yum, yum, yum, yum.
Unfined, unfiltered; minimal mucking about. Vegan.
