Small Batch 'The C Bomb Syrah' 2025
Whole bunches of hand-picked Syrah fermented under CO2 gas. Juicy berry flavours and a slinky, candied edge. Chill and slurp for full pleasure.
GROWING & MAKING: Shiraz grown on a special little vineyard in Harvey. The bunches of handpicked grapes were kept whole, covered in CO2 gas and sealed with plastic wrap. Left to their own devices for a couple of weeks a magical process called ‘carbonic maceration’ happens. Without access to oxygen, each individual grape berry ferments internally creating a wine that brings plenty of bright fruity flavours, without extracting too much bitterness and tannin. The resulting wine is medium bodied, vibrant, juicy and soft, with plenty of berry fruits and a candied edge. Drink now and definitely feel free to throw it in the fridge and chill.
Unfined, unfiltered; minimal mucking about. Vegan.
